qmoon is run by qmoon Private Limited. This page explains what we collect from you, why we need it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
1. What we collect
- Your account: your phone number, your name, and your email address if you add one.
- Your billing details: the state you are billed in, and your GSTIN and business address if you give us one, so your invoice is usable for input credit.
- Payments and earnings: a record of what you paid and what you were paid, and your UPI ID if you withdraw earnings. We never see or store your card or bank account details — those stay with our payment provider.
- Your screens: where a screen is (city, locality, venue), what kind of place it is, and an identifier for the device itself.
- Your files: the images and videos you upload for your ads.
- How you use qmoon: sign-in times, IP address and browser, kept for security.
2. Why we use it
- To sign you in, using a one-time code sent to your phone or email.
- To run your ads, look after your screens, and work out and pay your earnings.
- To send you the codes, receipts and notices that come with using qmoon.
- To meet Indian tax and company law — invoices, GST returns, payout records.
- To spot fraud and abuse, and keep the platform working for everyone.
3. How we look after it
- Your data is held in India.
- It is encrypted while it travels and while it is stored.
- Passwords and one-time codes are never kept in a form anyone can read back — not by us either.
- Only the people who need it to run qmoon can reach live systems.
4. Who else sees it
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising.
- Our providers: we use a small number of companies to run qmoon — hosting, payments, email and SMS. Each handles only what it needs for its part, only on our instructions, and cannot use it for anything else.
- When the law asks: where Indian law, a court, or a government authority requires it.
5. What you can ask for
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us for:
- A copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- A correction — most of it you can edit yourself from your profile.
- Deletion of your account and the personal data in it, from your profile page or by emailing us.
- To withdraw consent — you can stop using qmoon at any time, and closing your account removes your personal data.
Write to hello@qmoon.in from your registered email address and we will reply within 3 business days. One thing we cannot delete is your money record — see below.
6. How long we keep it
- Your account data stays for as long as your account is open.
- When you close your account, your name, phone and email are removed within 30 days.
- Invoices, payments and payout records are kept for 8 years, because Indian tax and company law require it. We cannot delete these, even if you ask.
- Usage figures with nothing personal left in them may be kept.
7. Cookies
We use cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in. That is all — no third-party tracking, no advertising cookies.
8. Under 18
qmoon is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone younger.
9. Changes to this page
We may update this page. If something significant changes, we will tell you by email or in the app. The date at the top is always the current version.
